Cracker Jacks
1 gallon popped corn
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine or butter
1/4 cup Karo
1/2 tsp baking soda
dash of salt
Combine sugar, margarine and syrup. Cook 4 minutes stir in soda and salt. Pour mixture over popcorn and coat every kernel. Bake on cookie shoot at 200 degrees for one hour.
Break apart and enjoy.
This one is easy and kids love it.

Homemade Applesauce
8 large cooking apples
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
Peel, core, slice or cut the apples. Combine apples, water, cinnamon and sugar in a slowcooker. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high 3-4 hours. Makes 8 servings.
